Got bored and started to rummage through my pictures.Got really emotional,well not emotional but overwhelmed when I saw some photos taken during Hari Raya.Hari Raya is a fun time and it's best spent surrounded by family and friends.

'Twas the time of the year again when fellow Howitt Hall residents gathered on a boat and cruised around the Yarra River to enjoy a fun night filled with music,laughter and alcohol.'Twas also the time of the year when I went camera crazy!! So here are some pics from this year's Boat Cruise!!

Othmans Annual Family Holiday- BALI
|

It was that time of the year again when my family goes on a family holiday.It usually happens at the end of the year but because we were so busy with Abang's wedding,we could only go at the start of the year.This year's destination was BALI!! Our last trip to Bali was wayyyy back in 1993!!! It's such a beautiful place and the people are so friendly.I had a great time shopping.I've already been to all the tourist spots back in '93 so this trip was fully dedicated to shopping,swimming,sleeping and eating.The best kinda holiday.We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom villa,complete with a personal driver and chef.How good is THAT ?. I would definitely head back to BALI.It's friendly people and beautiful scenery will always keep me wanting for more.

So yesterday was the akad nikah ceremony.Today,it was time for Azian's reception.I'm not going to type much but all I want to say is that Azian looked so beautiful in her purple and white kebaya.My brother surprisingly looked dashing in his baju melayu,complete with the setanjak,sampin and keris.We were received so well from Azian's side.Guests were given a box filled with a piece of cake.Beautiful box,delicious cake.Anyway,here are the pics.

Shamyl and Azian's Akad Nikah @ Masjid Setiawangsa , K.L.

Alhamdulillah....today my brother "selamat diijab kabulkan" with his new wife, Azian.It was a beautiful morning as close relatives congregated at my house in Melawati to escort my brother to Masjid Setiawangsa for the akad nikah ceremony.Traditionally,there were nine trays of hantaran brought by us to be given to Azian.The akad nikah went by smoothly as my brother,Shamyl,managed to say the lafaz nikah in one go.Champion la! I was amazed at my brother.He was so calm and collected.I guess he really wanted this marriage to happen.Azian looked so beautiful.She looked very tense as she entered the mosque but that changed as soon as my brother managed to say the lafaz nikah without a hitch.It was a very emotional and touching event.Anyway I won't babble anymore.Here are some photos from the ceremony.

Sam Gash's 21st Birthday Celebration @ Spiegeltent

YEAY!!! My dear friend Sam turned 21 on October 14th. To celebrate it,a few of us from PER and some of Sam's personal friends went to Spiegeltent to celebrate her birthday.The night was so much fun! It was my first time there and I enjoyed it heaps.There was a swing band that played really good music. Oh! there was this couple who Swing danced all nite long.They were awesome coz they were like 70 yrs old I reckon.Anyway,check out some pics!

The Nott

Every Thursday the crazy residents from halls make their way to the local pub, The Nott. Here much funness happens.Drunk people,happy people,fights and that band which plays the same songs every week.It's the one night we all look forward to.Yes...it's sad.A trip to The Nott is extra fun with a camera to document the crazy things or people there.So here are pics that were taken over the course of 2 years...ENJOY!

[i] Dean, a friend who I got to know from Howitt Hall threw his 21st birthday bash and the theme was redneck.It was cool to see everyone turning up in redneck attire.Flannel shirts,ugg boots and cowboy hats.I've never seen so many badly dressed people in one room.Hever I think Katja and I still managed to look trendy.
